The EU AI Act applies in stages — prohibitions and AI literacy since February 2025, GPAI obligations since August 2025, the full high-risk regime from August 2026 — and it asks every provider and deployer the same questions: which of your systems are AI systems, what risk tier is each one, which obligations follow from your role, and where is the evidence? Most organisations answer with a spreadsheet that is outdated the week it is finished.
The EU AI Act Register answers from your EA repository instead. Every AI system is an Application card and every GPAI model an ITComponent card, carrying contributed AI Act sections with per-field help that cites the article. A guided classification wizard walks Art. 5, Art. 6 with the Annex III use cases and the Art. 6(3) derogation, and Art. 50 — and keeps every accepted assessment as an article-cited audit trail, so 'why is this system high-risk, and who decided?' stays answerable years later. The 31-entry obligation matrix resolves per system from role and tier, tracks the staged deadlines, and rolls up into a readiness score and a compliance quadrant that shows the whole portfolio on one chart.
The register itself is assembled live from the cards — nothing to sync, nothing to go stale — validated with honest rule coverage, frozen into immutable snapshots, and exported as an Excel register workbook plus per-system Annex IV technical-documentation and FRIA skeletons in Word format, pre-filled from the repository. The free compliance scanner's AI detections become one-click scope suggestions, so the funnel from 'the scanner flagged it' to 'classified, tracked and documented' is a single screen.

- A stray blue rectangle no longer appears across the compliance quadrant when you click. Selecting a group of systems drew a large blue outline over the whole plot — the browser's focus indicator, landing on the chart's internal drawing layer rather than on the disc you clicked. It was always being drawn; you only started seeing it in 1.1.0, because before that every click opened the card panel over the top of it. Keyboard navigation is untouched: tabbing to the chart still shows a focus outline, as it must.

- Systems that share a score are no longer hidden in the compliance quadrant. Where several AI systems landed on the same point, only the topmost was visible and the rest were invisible. That happened far more often than it sounds: the plot's two axes are the count of obligations that apply to a system and the share of them implemented, and because the Act defines a fixed set of obligations per risk tier and operator role, every high-risk provider at the same stage of implementation lands on exactly the same spot. The plot now draws one disc per position, sized and labelled with how many systems sit there — «×7» rather than a dot that looked like one system. Clicking it narrows the ranked list beside the plot to precisely those systems, so each one is reachable and opens its card as before; the chip above the list clears the selection. A system on a position of its own looks and behaves exactly as it did.
